Yellow Hexavalent

Yellow hexavalent is a chromate conversion coating for zinc and zinc alloy deposits. Yellow hexavalent produces an iridescent finish. Yellow hexavalent has an excellent corrosion resistance.

Description

ZN 1547L is a highly concentrated chromate to produce yellow chromate coatings over zinc-plated surfaces.

Coatings produced with ZN 1547L chromate are virtually scratch-free, do not crack or flake on bending and are highly corrosion resistant.

The chromate film produced with ZN 1547L has a uniform thickness and colour. Depending on the concentration of the solution, a colour can change from light to dark. When properly used, the dip is long lasting and can be replenished on a continuous basis.
