Blue Trivalent
Blue trivalent is a chromate conversion coating for zinc and zinc alloy deposits. Blue trivalent coating produces high-corrosion resistant finishing. Blue trivalent is considered environmentally friendly alternative to hexavalent chromates.
ZN - 1503
TRIVALENT CLEAR/ BLUE PASSIVATION
Description
ZN-1503 is a trivalent clear/blue passivation for use in all zinc plating processes.
ZN-1503 can be used in rack and barrel installations.

ZN 1506
TRIVALENT BLUE CHROMATE
Physical Properties:
ZN 1506: Liquid
Description
ZN 1506 is a trivalent chromium based product that produces passivation film on zinc deposits from all cyanide, alkaline and acid zinc plating process. When applied correctly, it will achieve 72 hours of Neutral Salt Spray Test to corrosion.
ZN 1506 can be analysed and maintained by replenishment the concentrate product.
Equipment
Tank: Tank made of or lined with P/P or PVC are suitable for this operation
Agitation: Air or mechanical movement
Ventilation: Exhaust system is recommended
ZN 1508
HIGH CORROSION TRIVELENT BLUE CHROMATE FOR ZN
Physical Properties:
ZN 1508: Liquid
Description
ZN 1508 is a trivalent blue passivation for electroplated zinc for both rack and barrel application.
ZN 1508 can be used on parts which have been plated in cyanide, alkaline non cyanide and acid zinc process. When applied correctly, it will achieve 120 hour neutral salt spray test to corrosion.
ZN 1508 can be analysed and maintained by replenishment of the concentrate product.
Equipment
Tank: PVC or steel tank lined with PVC
