ACID INHIBITOR

Acid inhibitors are typically modern liquid inhibitors that are used to effectively control the corrosive as scale removers. Acid inhibitors have a special filming agent that imparts a protective coating to the metal, protecting it from acid damage, reduce fumes and spray from pickle bath. It has little to no effect on the efficiency of the acid action.

P 1120 ACID INHIBITOR

P 1120: Liquid

Description

P 1120 ACID INHIBITOR mixed together with hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid inhibits the attack of the acid on the steel substrate, leading to bright, clean parts which maximises plating quality.

P 1120 ACID INHIBITOR eliminates smut formation on high carbon or carbo-nitrided steel and improves pickle’s ability to remove scale. It also eliminates blistering on heated part.

P 1120 ACID INHIBITOR will reduce fumes and spray from pickle bath and also reduces the possibility of hydrogen embrittlement from the pickling process.

P 1120 ACID INHIBITOR greatly reduces soluble iron build-up in the pickle, extending pickle life and significantly minimising iron contamination of the plating baths.

P 1120 ACID INHIBITOR is compatible with plating baths processes.
