CR 1600 (BK) is a high-efficiency, black chrome plating process that provides an excellent throwing power within a wide range of operating current densities.

CR 1600 (BK) can be plated directly on steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel and brass etc.

Equipment

Tanks: Steel tanks with chromic acid-resistant coating
Heating: Teflon or Teflon-electric heater
Anodes: Lead – Tin anodes (93% Pb ~ 7% Sn)
Anode – Cathode Ratio: Minimum 2 : 1
Rectifier: 12 ~ 15 volt with less than 5% ripples
