CYANIDE ZINC

Cyanide zinc process is a plating process ultilising sodium cyanide and tolerance to impurities. It gives bright and lustre finishing zinc coating.

ZN 5111 AZ BRIGHT CYANIDE ZINC PLATING PROCESS

Physical Properties:
ZN 5111 AZ: Liquid

Description

ZN 5111AZ is a liquid brightener, formulated to produce brilliant deposits for both barrel and rack operations. Throwing and covering power is excellent. Zinc-plated parts can easily be chromated. Due to the variable metal and cyanide content of the solution, it may be used over a wide range of operating conditions.

ZN 5111AZ contains no aldehydes, a fact which allows the plater to use higher than normal operating temperatures (up to 40°C).

Its brilliant deposits and its economy make it the outstanding cyanide zinc brightener.

Equipment

If possible, plating tanks should be plastic lined to avoid stray currents. Zinc anodes must be 99.9% pure zinc. Filtration is generally not required. Bath or cathode agitation may be used but is not essential. Cooling facilities are recommended to keep the temperature of the plating solution within operating range.

ZN C-777 CYANIDE ZINC PLATING PROCESS

Physical Properties:
ZN C-777: Liquid

Description

ZN C-777 is an enhanced general purpose brightener for use in cyanide zinc electrolytes. ZN C-777 contains an aldehyde additive for enhanced brightness especially in the low to mid current densities.

ZN C-777 is suitable for both rack and barrel plating. ZN C-777 will operate over a wide cyanide concentration range.

ZN C-777 deposits readily accept post plate treatments. ZN C-777 is compatible with most existing brighteners.

PURI ZN CYANIDE ZINC PLATING PURIFIER

Physical Properties:
PURI ZN : Liquid

Description

PURI ZN is a polysulphide-based zinc purifier, suitable to use in all type of cyanide zinc plating process.

PURI ZN when added by precipitation, will remove copper, cadmium and lead metallic contaminants, producing a high purity zinc deposit.

PURI ZN has no adverse effect on the performance of the electrolyte.
