Zinc alloy refers to any metal composed of two or more elements in which, at least, one is zinc. Zinc-nickel and zinc-Iron is most widely applied to increase corrosion resistance, stability, dimensional strength and impact strength.

Description

A high corrosion resistant “Trivalent Blue-Bright” conversion coating for Zinc Nickel. ZN NI-Z 1540 is a unique trivalent passivating conversion coating for electroplated zinc/nickel alloy.

ZN NI-Z 1540 will impart an aesthetically pleasing conversion coating which when applied properly will produce a finish that exceeds 400 hours of neutral salt spray to corrosion products.

ZN NI-Z 1540 is a cost-effective alternative to high corrosion finished in an all “trivalent” containing product.

ZN NI-Z 1540 when top-coated with KM 26 SEALER will provide 500 hours to corrosion products.

Description

ZN NI-Z 1550 is a unique trivalent black conversion coating for electroplated zinc-nickel alloy. It produces a uniform, gloss-black finish.

ZN NI-Z 1550 works over a very wide nickel alloy content range of 11% – 17%, and it achieves over 400 hours to corrosion and over 1,000 hours to rust.

ZN NI-Z 1550 is ideal for both rack and barrel installations using alkaline and acid zinc-nickel deposits.
